Adult Faith Formation - [Donna Booker], initiates and plans educational and spiritual growth experiences for the adults of the parish to encourage and foster spiritual awareness and growth.
Adult RCIA Process - [Fr. George], (Rite of Christian Initiation of Adults) serves as a series of weekly sessions for those thinking of becoming Catholic.
Catechesis of the Good Shepherd - [Ellen Poppleton], teaches the Catholic faith to young children through lessons and activities.
Elementary Age Family Events - [John Lamping], provides fellowship and activities that foster Catholic faith and community.
Family RCIA Process - [Donna Booker], provides formational experience for children who wish to become Catholic and their parents.
John Paul II Family Fellowship - [Ellen Dillon], gives St. Clare families with children attending JPII fellowship opportunities.
Pre-school Family Events - [Helen ORourke], gives preschool age children (0-6 years) and their families an opportunity to gather for age-appropriate faith-building activities.
PSR 1st - 8th Grades - [Donna Booker], provides Catholic education and formation for children attending public schools or home-schooled.
St. Clare is a part of John Paul II Catholic School - [Leanora Roach], nurtures the Catholic faith and achieves academic success for all children in Kindergarten-8th grade.
Vacation Bible School - [Shauna Walsh], provides an opportunity for children to deepen their relationship with God during the summer.
Liturgy & Worship
Art & Environment - [Mary Rose], prepares church for celebrations of the liturgical season through altar cloths, banners and plants.
Bereavement Ministry - [Marge Bischoff], assists families in planning Mass of Christian Burial, attends the Mass and assists during the liturgy.
Children Liturgy of the Word - [Donna Booker], proclaims the Word of God on a level understandable to young children.
Eucharistic Ministers - [Sandy Fernbacher], distributes Communion at Mass and to shut-ins.
Gift Presenters - [Harold Schuler], brings forward the gifts at weekend and holyday Masses.
Greeters - [Harold Schuler], provides a warm welcome at weekend Masses.
Infant Baptism Preparation - [Fr. George], aids parents in understanding and preparing for baptism of their child.
Lectors - [Pat Molloy], proclaims the Word of God at Mass.
Liturgical Movement - [Monica Bonecutter], enhances the liturgy through non-verbal prayer, banners, incense and dance.
Liturgy Planning Team - [Darin Art], provides liturgical preparation for major seasons and feasts.
Marriage Preparation - [Steve & Kathy Plapp], allows an engaged couple to meet with a married couple to enhance communication on a wide range of topics.
Music Ministry - [Darin Art], provides music through Adult Choir, Cantors, and Instrumentalists.
Petition Writers - [Geralyn & Tom Sparough], composes intercessions for weekend Masses.
Sacristans - [Harold Schuler], prepares sanctuary for weekend Masses and oversees weekend liturgy. Makes sure servers, Eucharistic Ministers, and Lectors are present.
Servers - [Skip Fellinger], assists presider at Mass. (Elementary, High School and Adult)
Ushers - [Harold Schuler], gives assistance wherever necessary to assure comfort and efficiency in the celebration of the liturgy.
Service & Support
Building and Grounds Committee - [Amy Wethington], oversees maintenance of parish facilities.
Celebrating Diversity Committee - [Kevin Mosher], encourages us to recognize, respect and value parish diversity.
Christ Community in College Hill - [Fr. George], serves as an interfaith group supported by churches of College Hill and dedicated to service in the community.
Church Cleaners - [Nancy Zint], provides weekly light cleaning of church.
Education Commission - [Mary Rose], oversees and supports all aspects of education within the parish from preschool through adult.
Facilities Committee - [Bob Ebbeler], assists Pastor, Business Manager, and Finance Commission in planning the maintenance of parish properties.
Facilities Use Committee - [Fr. George], reviews the use of all facilities.
Feast of Love - , serves as an ecumenical outreach supported by the churches of College Hill to provide food and fellowship on major holidays.
Finance Commission - [Ron Goldschmidt], oversees and manages all financial aspects of the church, school and facilities.
Interfaith Hospitality Network - [Sr. June Casterton], works as an ecumenical, faith-based program supported by the Churches of College Hill to provide shelter for families who are experiencing homelessness.
Kroger Rewards Program - [Parish Office], raises money for the parish at no cost to parishioners by registering their Kroger Plus card to benefit the community of St. Clare.
Ladies Society - [Mary Lou Ficker], provides needed items for the church, tuition aid, church cleaning, and embroiders Baptismal cloths.
Mens Group - [Bob Brewster], gathering as Christian men, we help and support each other through discussion, study and prayer.
Ministry to Sick, Shut-ins and Elderly - [Marge Bischoff], provides support and service to the sick, shut-ins and elderly.
Parish Council - [John Rose], leads the body of the parish community and serves as a primary advisor to the Pastor.
Parish Life Committee - [Mark Schababerle], reviews the ministries and work of the parish to ensure that St. Clare is ministerially complete.
Peace and Justice Commission - [Monica Bonecutter], acts as an initiating and guiding force in enabling our community to bring witness of the Gospel to bear upon social issues and structures, both locally and globally.
Prayer Group - [Jeanne Schwemberger], meets weekly to praise and thank God. Members pray daily for the parish prayer line requests.
Prayer Line - [Marjorie & George Kaminsky], provides prayer by request and prays for those in need of help.
Rosary Makers Guild - [Lorraine Paulson], makes rosaries for our RCIA candidates and missions all over the world.
Shelterhouse (formerly Drop Inn Center) - [Rob Cantlon], provides opportunities to meet some of the needs of the homeless, especially through the parish-sponsored Christmas Party.
St. Vincent de Paul Society - [Tom Stark], assists neighbors in need in the parish and neighborhood community.
Stewardship Committee - [Donna Booker], focuses on recognizing and giving thanks to God for blessings of time, talent, and treasure.
Worship Commission - [Lisa Doxsee], oversees and evaluates the worship experiences of parish in conjunction with the Pastor and the Director of Music & Liturgy.
Boosters - [John Rose], supports parish athletic activities.
Evening for Excellence - [Rectory], provides a fun Fall evening with oral auction, split the pot, silent auction, food, and friends.
Fellowship after Mass - [Roger & Mary Jo Bernhard], arranges and serves refreshments once a month after 10:30 am Sunday liturgy.
Fish Fry - [Kathy Metzger], provides fellowship and fish dinners the Fridays in Lent.
Nite at the Races - [Susan Arnold], supports the Boosters many programs while enjoying games of chance, horse races, and fun.
St. Clare Seniors - [Tom Schuermann], offers fellowship, programs, and special outings for our seniors.
