Response to COVID-19

Beginning with Masses the weekend of June 5/6, 2021,

the obligation to attend Mass has been reinstated by the Bishops of Ohio.

Please note the following quote from the Catholic Conference of Bishops of Ohio letter dated May 14, 2021:

"As has always been the case, those who have a serious reason are exempt from attending Mass on Sundays and Holy Days of Obligation (Catechism of the Catholic Church, 2181). This includes those who are ill, haveĀ significant health risk factors or care for someone who is immune-compromised or ill, as well as those who have significant fear or anxiety of attracting the coronavirus in a large group of persons."

Information about attending Mass at St. Clare Parish

  • SEATING: There are some socially distanced pews that are roped off available in the Salvia wing and the front of church.
  • MASKS: Masks are no longer required, but everyone has the option to wear one if they choose. (Eucharistic Ministers will wear a mask and sanitize their hands for Communion, so everyone feels comfortable receiving the Holy Eucharist.)
  • HAND SANITIZERS: There are hand santizers at all of the church entrances, as well as the corners of the sanctuary.
  • LIVE STREAM: The live stream of all of our Masses will be available for those who are sick or unable to attend Mass.
